Madame Needle

Counted cross stitch chart. A "pinpillow embroidred" was among the New Year's gifts presented to Queen Elizabeth I in 1562. As receptacles for costly pins, every lady's themselves and as gifts. 

This design was stitched on 32ct fabric with Silk threads.
